Air Jordan 22 was released on Michael Jordans 44th birthday, February 17, 2007. This is the 22nd model in the Air Jordan Sneaker shoes series which dates back to Michael Jordan's rookie season in 1985. Like prior Air Jordans, the design of the Nike Air Jordan 22 was inspired by the F-22 Raptor Strike Fighter. When you look at the F-22 Raptor you see the light camo spots and sharp aerodynamic cuts that can cut through the air like ice. The design of the upper of Air Jordan 22 Sneaker has sharp lines which takes inspiration from the sharp maneuverability of the F-22 Raptor. Supplying Cheapest Nike Air Jordan 22 Shoe features zig-zag stitching similar to that of the F-22 which helps conceal the jet from enemy radar. On the shoes, this stitching helps provide a well produced shoe with lasting quality.
A diamond framed design on the feel works to avoid rolled heels, and a titanium shank in the midsole provides extra support without increasing the overall weight of the shoe.
Introduced with the Air Jordan XXs, the Independent Podular Suspension (IPS) system returns with the XX2s. Nike has introduced a key difference with the new XX2s as the pods are now color coded to signify what kind of pod is installed, people can choose from a Zoom Air pod, or a shock absorbing encapsulated air pod.
The Air Jordan XX2s is available in two main varieties, the standard white with red and black trim, or in basketball leather.
